BFitKC’s Personal Trainers have diverse specialties that work for any training goals as well as various fitness abilities.  Whether you are seeking personal training for weight loss, general overall health, or competitive training, our staff of trainers will individualize your plan to reach your goals and provide a results-driven approach tailored to you.

No matter where you’re at with your physical ability, we will get you started at your own pace.  All programs are customized just for you and your session.

Our trainers provide unique feedback on your exercises and progress during each session and take the time to teach you proven techniques and movements to ensure proper form and safety. 

Training sessions are set by the client and are affordable for every budget.  BFitKC does not require bulk sessions to be purchased.

Brian

IFBB Pro, training in overall health and wellness, competitive bodybuilding, etc. Brian Clark, owner and founder of BFITKC, has been training and coaching for over 10 years. Brian was active in wrestling in high school and after graduating high school at 120 lbs., he began engaging in MMA, baseball, and other fitness activities. It was 14 years ago that Brian met his best friend and coach (who is now his coaching partner), Tom Lenihan, who helped guide Brian in his growth and nutrition. Brian competed for the first time in bodybuilding and was hooked. He has continued to compete, has won several state shows, and has competed multiple times at the national level. Brian is an advocate of a healthy, active lifestyle. He specializes in body transformations, weight loss, muscle building, strength training, and working with various physical disabilities and chronic pain. He finds joy in seeing people progress, their health improve, and their happiness increase as they see their progress. He  earned his IFBB Pro Card in the Middle Weight Body Building division in the 2024 at NPC Teen, Collegiate, & Master’s National Championships in Pittsburgh, PA.

Kris

Personal Trainer at BFitKC

Hey all! I’m Kris. I have worked in the fitness industry for 15 years.  I became a competitive, long distance runner in my 30’s. I have run over 25 marathons, at least a dozen halves, and have served as a pacer for local marathons and halves.  I realized the importance of cross training early on and feel in love with lifting.  I became NASM certified so that I could help people meet their goals.  I also have a coaching certification in running, CrossFit, Pilates, and spin. I have competed and placed in three figure competitions. I love to help people meet their goals, whether it is to lose weight, gain muscle, or train for endurance. I believe in a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition and supplements.  I  am extremely knowledgeable in the benefits of CBD as well for recovery, sleep, muscle repair, and a balanced life. I cannot wait to help you reach the goals you have!

Thomas

IFBB Pro, Lead Nutritionist at BFitKC

Thomas Lenihan is the man behind the nutrition at BFITKC. He has his Bachelors in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Corporate Wellness from Northwest Missouri State University. He also holds certifications as a personal trainer through both the American Council of Exercise and NASM. He began bodybuilding 20 years ago and earned his IFBB Pro Card in the 2015 NPC USA Championships in Las Vegas. He has continued to compete and is also an NPC (National Physique Committee) judge and head judge, providing judging and feedback for competitors at various regional NPC competitions.

Thomas believes that discipline, science, challenge, and the art that goes into building and changing the human body to be an amazing process. The lifestyle changes teach a number of lessons. We all have levels of genetics we can mold with proper training, nutrition, recovery, and planning. Building the body is about that tested, tried, and trued application using the basic principles of exercise science and nutrition as the baseline to progress!

Thomas’s motto when it comes to health and wellness is that the “greatest investment you can make is in your wellness. It will always have a positive return on that investment, equating to a stronger mind and a stronger body! STRONG MIND, STRONG BODY–you can’t have one without the other.”
